I'm interested in contributing to the Drupal for Facebook (Dff) module. One thought of integration which I thought would be helpful is to integrate dff into the Rules module (http://drupal.org/project/rules).

Before getting started, I'd like to know if their has been any thought around this and any advice during development.

Here is what triggered my thought:
- I'd like to associate users a specific "user role" if the Facebook user is affiliated with a specific Group ID (gid), is friends with a specific User ID (uid), etc.

This particular example would have to be done at registration and also at cron level. The cron would verify that the credentials are still valid, if not then the User Role would be removed.

I believe the Rules module would be a good fit and allow more customization and growth for the non Drupal developers to expand the Drupal for Facebook module's functionality.
