Until now, Drupal for Facebook has been primarily concerned with serving up canvas pages. That is, taking content, blocks, menus and other elements rendered by Drupal, and displaying them on Facebook. The other half of the integration, getting information from Facebook and displaying it on a Drupal-powered site, has been largely ignored.
Today, I checked in changes to support this two-way integration. To see it working, visit my account page here: http://drupalforfacebook.org/user/1001. Notice my facebook profile picture is displayed there. It's a small piece of information from Facebook, just enough to show the APIs are working.
These changes also make it possible to write content to mini-feeds and notify facebook users from Drupal pages that are not canvas pages. Shortly I plan to add some Actions to Drupal for Facebook to make configuring these sorts of things relatively easy.
